February 14, 2008 – 17:59I was browsing around the web and stumbled upon squid. Sounds like something to investigate, can also be useful for general server architecture. Squid can also act as a load balancer.
Another reverse proxy mentioned is varnish
Experiment with Lighttpd, like some comments in this post on the Moodle forums.
