Custom Scorm Report Moodle

June 20, 2008 – 11:03

Just thought of some nice side feature of our custom scorm report for Moodle. If there is a new release of a SCORM module or test, just add a new SCORM activity and hide the old one. The report will automatically pick up the new SCORM as not being scored by people and so people are automatically ‘forced’ to redo the module.

For example: there are 3 modules needed for certification:A, B and C. User 1 has completed all modules and scored 100% on the progress indicator. If module A is replaced by a new version, it will get a new id by Moodle and the report will recognise it as an unscored module. User 1 will then have a score of 66%.

I think this can be very relevant for some customers. Especially with long term running certification quizzes / modules.
