Upgraded Moodle to 1.9.3
October 31, 2008 – 10:43upgraded Moodle of client to 1.9.3 to see if I can fix a bug. If custom profile fields are required you do not have to fill them in in the signup form.
Bug should be fixed in 1.9.3, moreover you should add Choose… as the first option.
