Added remote server to Nagios
Wednesday, November 12th, 2008Client opened ports 161 and 199 TCP and UDP for Nagios monitoring. Installed snmpd and nrpe on server: apt-get install snmpd apt-get install nagios-nrpe-server Configured snmpd config in /etc/snmp/snmp.conf: Cannot get into server. Scan of server from nagios server showed no open ports. Checked firewall status at Ubuntu server with: [bash] ufw status [/bash]
